Levi’s® and JJJJound introduce their first collaborative collection for Spring 2023. Drawing from the ethos of both brands, the capsule integrates classic Levi’s® denim with JJJJound’s minimalistic design approach.
Founded by Levi Strauss in 1853, Levi’s® is an American brand and apparel manufacturer. Born during the San Francisco gold rush, the eponymous label was created as a dry-goods solution to the miners’ need for more durable pants. Rooted in functional workwear, the brand has expanded its portfolio over the years but kept its unwavering commitment to manufacturing quality & durable goods at the forefront.
Best recognized for its icons, Levi’s® is credited for pioneering timeless American staples like the western shirt, trucker jacket and most notably, the invention of the modern-day blue jean. 2023 marks the 150th anniversary of the 501®. What started as a patent for copper rivets on work pants has since transformed into one of the most influential pieces of clothing ever created. To commemorate this historic milestone, the capsule includes a 501® ’93 refined through JJJJound’s distinctive lens.
The six-piece collection features a range of apparel and accessories with light wash selvedge denim as the catalyst. Serving as a reinterpretation of timeless classics, each piece was meticulously constructed with elevated fabrications, precise componentry & subtle branding, while maintaining the integrity and identity of both labels.
